RACHAEL LIEBLEIN-JURBALA DANCE WORKS

RACHAEL LIEBLEIN-JURBALA (she/her) is a New York City-based dancer, choreographer, producer, and arts administrator. With an affinity for sociological thinking, Rachael’s work takes the form of non-linear narrative, exploring themes from grief and lineage to obedience and conflict. Her choreography has been presented at numerous venues across NYC, including the Tank Theater, WAXworks, Green Space, WestFest, Uptown Rising, and the Spark Theatre Festival. Rachael serves as Program Manager for the Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) at the 92nd Street Y, NY, and is co-producer and curator of the annual WestFest Dance Festival in the West Village. Rachael holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance and Sociology from Connecticut College, and has studied Costume Design at Arts University Bournemouth and trained at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. www.rachael-lieblein-jurbala.com @rlj_dance_works
